Holy Light Pentecostal Ministries, Incorporated (HLPM) was birthed and established out of Holy Light Pentecostal Church, Inc. (HLPC), Poughkeepsie, New York in 1994 under the leadership of Apostle Debra E. Gause. In 1995 other churches and ministries became familiar with HLPM and joined the newly established organization. In 1996 Holy Light was officially incorporated. In 1997 the First Annual Workers Conference Meeting was held in Jacksonville, Florida. In 1998 the First Annual Fellowship Convention was held in Valdosta, Georgia. In 2000 the first international churches from South Africa, Ghana, and West Africa joined the apostolic work, while back in the United States more homeland churches were added. In 2002, Apostle Gause envisioned and today has begun to fulfill OAK, NOW, (Operation Advance the Kingdom, Now!). This vision embodies a Christian Academy, a Citadel of Hope Transitional Housing, a 24-hour Prayer Tower, a Missions House, a Bible College and Training Center, a Christian Community Center, a Bible Book Store, and a Founders Library dedicated to the founders of Holy Light Pentecostal Church Headquarters, Bishops Mack B. and Addie B. McClinton. There are many other unnamed facets of ministries that will undergird the OAK, Now! Vision. Today Holy Light Pentecostal Ministries International is a thriving, fruitful force in the Kingdom of God making an impact on to win as many as possible, develop as many as possible, and multiply as many, through as many as possible. |
