“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
Dearly Beloved,
Stay connected to the vine, who is Christ our Lord. As scripture states, “…he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit.” We have been freed to be fruitful and bare much fruit. It is in Him that we live, move and have our being.
Apart from our union with our savior, we can do nothing. It doesn’t matter how much we’ve accomplished according to worldly standards, without abiding in Him, we are nothing and can do nothing. The proof that we are His is evidenced in our fruit-bearing.
